Freehand Cast Drawing

Sight-size is a powerful technique but the student needs to be able to work outside the studio or in situations where the technique cannot be applied. In order to balance the previous work in sight-size students draw casts using proportional relationships freehand in pencil or charcoal with modeling techniques appropriate to the drawing medium.
