The Florence Art Studio offers Tailor-Made Private Instruction for those seeking a highly personalized and focused experience in drawing or painting. Instruction may be arranged throughout the year, including weekends and holidays, offering an exceptional degree of flexibility for those visiting Florence or seeking a more private approach to artistic study.

Sessions generally last two or three hours and are conducted on an individual basis, allowing the instructor to devote continuous attention to the participant’s work and development. Demonstrations, explanations and corrections are introduced at the appropriate moment, creating a concentrated and responsive learning experience, with instruction adjusted as the work progresses.

The instruction is suitable for artists at all levels, from complete beginners to experienced practitioners. Beginners are introduced to the fundamental principles of observation, drawing, and painting through carefully guided exercises, while experienced artists can pursue more specific technical or artistic objectives and receive a level of instruction appropriate to their existing knowledge.

Particular attention is given to direct observation, proportion, structure, light, value, color, and the handling of the chosen medium. All necessary materials are provided by the Studio. Participants can therefore arrive without preparation and begin their study immediately, with the Studio providing the materials and working environment required for the session.
